The selfie craze has come to the game. I've always taken screenshots with myself and whatever boss we happened to be fighting. The addition of the ability to take selfies will probably mean more people are positioning themselves with the boss to their back. For a brief time, their dps, tanking or healing numbers will go down, while they fumble with their selfie camera. I already put an icon on my toolbar to use right away when the selfie urge arises.

Here's a recent selfie with Onyxia. If she'd just drop her mount, I'd leave her alone.

Out And About

My guild has a bunch of events around the anniversary of their founding, December 15th. One of those events last year, was a ride around Draenor. Along the way, we killed some rares, fell in the water and discovered just how close you could get to Ashran without queuing for PvP. After paying our respects to the genie in northern Talador, we disbanded. Before I headed back to my garrison, Thollie and I stopped to admire the view.

I think this is the one thing that has struck me about Warlords of Draenor. There are incredible views pretty much everywhere. You can easily fill your screenshot folder with nothing but landscapes, there's so much to see.

Out And About

I'm a screenshot junkie. I freely admit it. But this game provides all sorts of places and situations where a screenshot to preserve the moment is vitally necessary. The above is a case in point. This is on the elemental plateau in Draenor. That's a purple outlined fishing pole and there's a murloc. I won't tell you what happened when I clicked the pole. Suffice it to say it was quite amusing. I love to fish in game so they didn't need to entice me to try it. Is the murloc used for bait? You'll have to go find out.
